This feature means that these heat shrinks can be used as long as they&#8217;re expanded inside diameter (ID) and recovered wall ID remain within the tolerances specified in AS23053\/11 and AS23053\/12.<\/p>\n<h4>Etched Tubing<\/h4>\n<p>Etched fluoropolymers will &#8220;grab&#8221; or capture molecules from the air to restore their electron deficiency. This process results in a weakening of their surface etching. For this reason, all etched materials should be stored in their original sealed bags.
